ErgoGroup deployed the Windows 7 operating system to 250 computers, and plans to deploy it companywide by early 2010. ErgoGroup is also developing best-practices guidelines for customers.
ErgoGroup uses Windows 7 in conjunction with the Windows Server 2008 R2 operating system to manage more client computer parameters with Group Policy, including power settings and configuration. ErgoGroup will also be able to eliminate a third-party encryption solution by using the enhanced BitLocker feature in Windows 7, which helps protect data on portable storage devices.
